Cookie Policy

Last updated: 29 August 2026

This policy explains how SXR Limited (“SXR”, “we”) uses cookies and similar technologies on sxrgroup.com. It sits alongside our privacy notice and should be read with it.

What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device by a website. Similar technologies — such as browser local storage — do the same job and are treated the same way in this policy and under the law.

Our approach

We set no analytics or marketing cookies unless you accept them. When you first arrive, a banner asks you to choose. Nothing beyond the strictly necessary record of that choice is stored until you press Accept.

Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003, strictly necessary storage does not require consent. Everything else does, and we treat rejecting as being as easy as accepting.

What we store

Strictly necessary — always active

NameTypePurposeRetention
sxr_consent_v1 Local storage Remembers your cookie choice so we do not ask on every page. 180 days

Analytics — only if you accept

NameTypePurposeRetention
_ga Cookie Google Analytics. Distinguishes one visitor from another so we can count visits. 2 years
_ga_<id> Cookie Google Analytics. Keeps session state. 2 years

Analytics tells us which pages are read and how people arrive. We use it in aggregate to improve the site. IP addresses are anonymised. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not sell or share this data.

Changing your mind

You can change your choice at any time. If you withdraw consent, we clear the analytics cookies from your browser straight away.

Update your preferences for this site:

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so will not stop this site working, since we rely on no non-essential cookies for functionality.

Third parties

We load typefaces from Google Fonts, which requires your browser to connect to fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Google Fonts does not set cookies, but the connection means Google receives your IP address. Our contact form is submitted through FormSubmit, which processes the details you type in order to deliver the message to us.

Your rights

Where the data we hold is personal data, UK GDPR gives you rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. To exercise any of these, or to complain, contact us at support@sxrgroup.com. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top shows the current version.
